South Africa report # 6

Before you go on reading look at the picture and tell me what do you think people are doing there?
I was helping in a little building project another day. And this is the way they mix cement in South Africa; right in the middle of the driveway. They would bring sand and rocks and cement and than make a little lake of water in it and then start mixing. It was fun to see for the trick is not to let water run and at the same time mix it well.
Very impressive!!!

Actually, this is a very common occurance .. it's a small scientific team of men examining what is called a "cement volcano". These quite often occur on asphalt driveways where the owner has refused to consider using concrete for his driveway. Nobody knows who or what is responsible for this strange act of nature, but I suspect a team of politicians will form a committee to see if they need to pass a law against these spontaneous events!
